Note:
- In order for the sensor data to be received and used, the "PS" pin must be connected to "Ground" (for I2C communication) / "PS" to "VCC" (for serial communication) and the "XShut" pin to "VCC" (for distance measurement). Further information can be found in the linked data sheet.
Overview:
- Distance sensor VL53L0X
- The VL53L0X is a distance sensor. The sensor contains a very small laser source and a matching sensor. The VL53L0X can measure the "time of flight" or the time it takes for the laser to reach the sensor to calculate the distance.
- According to the manufacturer, the world's smallest laser rangefinder with "time of flight" (ToF) GY-530 VL53L0X
- VL53L0X + STM32
- Power: 3-5 V (internal low voltage regulator)
- Range: 2 meters (dark remote mode)
- Size: 25 mm x 15.6 mm (including mounting holes)
- Communication: Serial output, PWM output, IIC output
- Please note that the infrared light is affected by external light and the light affects the maximum measurement range without affecting the measurement accuracy.
- Standard configuration: Baud rate of serial interface 9600, automatic output, high precision mode.
