Electronic components in the field of microelectronics
The group of electronic components includes components that cannot be further physically distinguished within an electronic circuit.
Among the best known electronic components within microelectronics are
These electronic components are used in almost every project within microelectronics, preferably in prototyping.
Choosing the right electronic components
Probably no other product group contains such a wide range of components. Before buying, it is even more important to clarify which requirements the respective project has for the electronic components. In the following we would like to help a little with a short description of the components.
|Resistors||To put it simply: resistors slow down the electric current and can also serve as a voltage divider.|
|Potentiometer||Potentiometers are also resistors in the broadest sense, with the difference that the resistance can be regulated mechanically (e.g. by turning or pushing).|
|Capacitors||Capacitors can store a finite amount of electrical charge (the electrical energy) within an electrical field.|
|Pushbuttons and switches||Switches are among the best-known electronic components. Within a circuit, they serve as openers and closers - or as a button.|
|Relay||Relays are automatic switching devices that use a weak control circuit to open or close a stronger circuit.|
|Transistors||Transistors are electronic components that can also be counted as switches in the broadest sense. The control current is regulated via a control connection using a collector or emitter.|
|Diodes||Diodes only allow an electric current to flow in one direction. They are therefore suitable, for example, as converters from alternating current to direct current.|
|Optocoupler||Optocouplers are electronic components for transmitting a signal|
