VL6180X - "Time of Flight" laser - distance sensor / gesture sensorwith voltage regulator module.
The VL6180 is a time-of-flight sensor and thus determines the distance to the target based on the "time of flight". The sensor contains a laser source and a matching sensor. Communication is done via the I2C bus.
Overview:
- Measuring range: 5 mm to 100 mm recommended
- Supply voltage: 3 V to 5 V
- I2C interface for control and data
- two programmable GPIOs (only for 0- 2.8V)
