Soldering exercise - D2-1 Line tracking Smart Car

This DIY Smart Car can move automatically along a black track. A 7mm wide black lane on white paper is supplied.

No matter how the lane is curved, the car always tries to return to the black line. The light is reflected through the floor to the photo resistor. By detecting the resistance, it determines whether the car is driving in the white area. If the black lane is detected, the driving direction changes automatically to stay on it.

If you want to use a longer track, you can find DIY road adhesive rolls for customization here.
