The BMP280 air pressure sensor from Bosch is based on proven piezoresistive pressure sensor technology and offers high measurement accuracy with low power consumption. The module is ideal for microcontroller projects such as weather stations, altitude measurement or navigation.
The sensor measures air pressure and temperature. It is not possible to measure humidity with the BMP280. For applications with additional humidity measurement, the BME280 sensor is required.
Thanks to the support of I2C and SPI, the module can be easily connected to platforms such as Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266 or Raspberry Pi.

Relative altitude can be determined with an accuracy of around ±1 meter depending on changes in air pressure.
