Like its predecessor BMP180, the BMP280 sensor is based on Bosch's proven piezoresistive pressure sensor technology, which is characterized by high accuracy and linearity as well as long-term stability and high EMC robustness.
This sensor is suitable for all types of weather detection via I2C and SPI. A cost-effective solution for high-precision atmospheric pressure measurement with an absolute accuracy of ± 1 hPa and a temperature accuracy of ± 1.0 °C with low power consumption. Can also be used for height measurement with an accuracy of ± 1 meter.
