The Kitronik :MOVE mini MK 2 buggy kit for the BBC micro:bit is the latest version of the :MOVE mini to provide a fun introduction to robotics . The :MOVE mini is a 2-wheeled robot suitable for autonomous operation, remote control of projects via a Bluetooth application or control with a second BBC micro:bit as a controller via radio.

The MK2 has a set of Kitronik injection-molded wheels with O-ring rubber tires. The wheels are large in relation to the chassis and provide excellent traction. The MK2 goes where V1.0 can't!

The Kitronik :MOVE mini is driven by two servo motors with continuous rotation. The speed of these servos can be controlled via PWM (pulse width modulation), which is easy to do using the servo blocks in the MakeCode editor. Custom Kitronik blocks have been created for the Servo:Lite to make coding as quick and straightforward as possible.

The buggy also features 5 x RGB individually addressable ZIP LEDs (NeoPixel compatible) which can be used as indicators, reversing lights etc. There isthe option to add a pen or other add-on parts to the kit to extend the range of applications . The included Kitronik :MOVE servo:lite board can also be used in conjunction with a BBC micro:bit to create other motion-based projects.
