The sensor detects gestures, proximity, ambient light and colors with precise data transmission capabilities via the I2C bus.

The product is based on the TMG39931 and offers advanced features:

• 98,000:1 dynamic range for proximity detection

Gesture recognition

Four directional photodiodes detect reflected IR energy and convert it into digital information.

Proximity detection

Detects objects by photodiode recognition of reflected IR energy.

Digital ambient light detection & color sense

Provides data on the intensity of red, green, blue and clear light, enabling accurate measurements and color recognition.

IRBeam

For 1-D barcode transmission via IR to point-of-sale terminals, with adjustable timing and IR intensity.
