    This tiny module has two independent motor driver chips HG7881 (L9110S), each of which can drive 800 mA continuous current. The chips can be operated from 2.5 V to 12 V, so this module can be used with both 3.3 V and 5 V microcontrollers.
     
    A PWM (pulse width modulation) signal is used to control the speed of a motor and a digital pin is used to change its direction. This module can also be used to drive a single two-phase stepper motor with four wires. Four holes in the PCB make it easy to mount this board to your robot or other project.

    We recommend applying a PWM signal to input IA to control the motor speed and a digital output to input IB to control the direction of rotation.
     
    Note that the actual direction in which your motor will rotate "forward" and "reverse" depends on how it is oriented and wired. If your motor is spinning incorrectly, either replace the motor wires that are connected to the output terminals or change the way the IA and IB bits are set in your program.
     
    It is important to note that the HG7881 (L9110) dual-channel motor driver module is very simple. The voltage used to drive the chip is the same voltage used to drive the motors. There is no separate power supply for the motors. This means that if you are using a 5 V chip, you should work with 5 V motors.
    Choose a more powerful motor driver if more power is required.
