Electric push rod / lifting rod / linear actuator - 6V / 12V

This miniature electric push rod or pull rod consists of an enclosed electric motor with a threaded rod. By rotating the threaded rod, the push rod is pulled in or pushed out depending on the polarity of the voltage on the motor. The module works in a similar way to a linear actuator and is very powerful (up to 50N, depending on the voltage).

Ideal for implementing functional projects in which flaps or levers need to be set in motion. It is also possible to equip RC vehicles and machines with a reliable and precise linear movement, e.g. for dump trucks of RC excavators, as the module looks like a hydraulic ram.

Notes:

• To extend the rod, the positive and negative power supply is reversed.
• A motor driver board is also included with the product. This can be used to set up a circuit in which both directions of movement can be activated using push buttons without having to manually switch the electrical current direction. This wiring requires additional components and requires experience with electrical circuits. One advantage of using it, however, is that the voltage is deactivated when the end stops are reached (current detection). Otherwise, the motor works against the end stops.
