DOBOT Magician - Automation 1 educational package
In this educational package, each Dobot Magician robot arm can be controlled via a sensor.

The robots react to the external "trigger" of a light barrier and execute the previously programmed motion sequence. Programming can be carried out using the usual methods, such as Teach&Playback, Blockly or Python
It is also possible to save the program sequences on the robots. This means that this production line can be programmed with just one computer or laptop.
Proposed automation process:
- Robot1 picks up a business card blank from the designated fixture and places it in the fixture on the conveyor belt.
- Conveyor belt: The conveyor belt starts as soon as the business card is placed and stops when the business card has reached the stamping position.
- Robot2 starts the stamping process when the sensor on Robot2 detects the arrival of the business card roll.
- The conveyor belt moves the device with the stamped business card to the third robot.
- Robot3 removes the business card from the device and places it in the device provided for this purpose, which is also equipped with a light barrier.
- The conveyor belt moves the tray for the business card back to the start position.
- As soon as the stamped business card is removed from the tray, the third light barrier registers this and the associated robot1 restarts the production process.

The DOBOT Magician is a multifunctional desktop robot arm that has been specially developed for the education sector.
The highlight: the robot arm's tools can be exchanged in just a few simple steps. This provides a wide range of possible applications.

The purpose of the DOBOT conveyor belt seems to be quickly recognized: it offers the possibility of transporting material.
The conveyor belt is probably the most important building block in Industry 4.0 for simulating a production line.
