Product Description
A five-axis robotic arm serves as an exemplary demonstration of processes in modern vehicle assembly. The module combines robotic hardware with a graphical programming environment that requires no additional coding. It is designed for students of a certain age or developmental level who wish to understand and actively influence manufacturing processes.
The arm features a gripper for grasping and positioning objects, as well as integrated sensors for color identification and spatial orientation. These components make it possible to program and execute realistic scenarios such as sorting parts, assembling components, or stacking elements. Programming is block-based and visual; the arm receives commands via a wired connection from the control unit.
Typical application scenarios include simulating assembly work on vehicle parts, handling plastic or metal components measuring a few centimeters, and linking multiple sequential steps. A specific project could, for example, involve automatically sorting differently colored parts and placing them in predefined positions.
Operation requires a flat work surface measuring at least 800 mm × 800 mm, a power supply for the control unit, and a computer or tablet with the appropriate software. The work surface must provide sufficient space for the arm’s movements and the objects being handled. The maximum stroke is approximately 400 mm in height.
Safety Notice
The robotic arm is not intended for use on a standard household electrical circuit and is not intended for applications beyond prototyping, testing, and training purposes. During operation, hands and hair must be kept out of the arm’s working area, as the gripping function can cause crush injuries. Consult a qualified electrician if you encounter technical problems or need to perform maintenance on electrical components.
