    Product Description

    The mounting system connects a DOBOT Magician cobot to one or more linear axes, thereby extending its workspace beyond the vertical stroke. The mounting system is designed to match the mechanical and electrical interfaces of the cobot model.

    Installation is accomplished by screwing the mount to standard aluminum profiles or rails. This allows for various configurations without modifying the mounting system itself. The sturdy aluminum construction withstands the forces generated during the arm’s acceleration and braking.

    Typical application scenarios include automated assembly stations where workpieces must be transported over a longer distance to or from the cobot, or palletizing applications requiring a longer reach. This makes pick-and-place operations spanning several meters possible for the first time.

    Operation requires a 24-V power supply for the linear axis as well as the DOBOT’s standard control cables. Before the system is put into operation, the electrical connections must be inspected by a qualified electrician.

    Safety Notice

    The mounting system is not intended for installation in residential electrical circuits. It is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes with cobots. A qualified electrician must be consulted when working on electrical connections or performing installation tasks near the power supply. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician before commissioning.
