    Product Description

    The rotating beacon is a learning module for visual signaling with the DOBOT Magician Collaborative Robot. It indicates the robot’s operating states—such as ongoing movements, error codes, or warning situations—and thus complements acoustic and tactile communication during operation.

    The light is controlled directly via the robot’s control electronics and can be programmed to operate in three modes: off, steady light, or flashing. This makes it possible to visually indicate various states of automation or the robot’s daily operations without having to install an additional power supply.

    Typical applications are in manufacturing and assembly, where the light signals to personnel whether the robot is active or in a standby mode. Training and demonstration projects benefit from the clear visual feedback. Warning lights can also guide step-by-step processes in warehouse management or handling tasks.

    A prerequisite is the DOBOT Magician or a compatible model from this series, along with its control software. The light is mechanically mounted on the robot or a workstation; adjustments to accommodate the planned installation location must be considered during setup.

    The module is not intended for installation in the building’s electrical circuit and is designed exclusively for assembly, testing, and development. Work on or near the robot’s electrical installation must be performed by qualified electricians; if there are any uncertainties regarding the power supply or mechanical integration, a qualified electrician should be consulted before commissioning.
