Product Description

A flexible shaft coupling connects two shafts while compensating for unavoidable positional and alignment deviations. The coupling element, made of elastomeric material, absorbs vibrations and shocks, thereby reducing wear on bearings and gearboxes.

The coupling is slid onto both shaft journals and secured with set screws. It accommodates axial, radial, and angular misalignments simultaneously without requiring precise alignment. This allows even larger tolerance deviations between the components to be compensated for.

The coupling is frequently used to drive pumps, compressors, and blowers in laboratory and model-making setups. It is also suitable for decoupling motor vibrations in measurement and test benches, where reliable power transmission with damped vibrations is required. No further maintenance is required during operation.

Safety Note

The coupling must only be used with shafts of the specified diameter to prevent damage and slippage. It is intended exclusively for the construction of prototypes and test setups and is not suitable as a component in industrial production systems.
