Product Description

This shaft coupling connects two shafts of different diameters while absorbing shocks and misalignments. The elastic rubber element absorbs impacts and isolates vibrations between the drive and the driven machine.

The design consists of metal hubs and a central rubber element that requires no additional lubricant. This enables maintenance-free operation over long periods. The coupling accommodates minor radial and axial misalignments between the shaft centers, thereby reducing the requirements for installation accuracy.

Examples of applications include electric motor-driven conveyor systems designed to transmit vibrations with damping, or the decoupling of the drive and machine in machine tools. Even with variable-speed drives, the coupling reduces wear peaks that would otherwise occur with rigid connections.

The narrow diameter range (6 mm to 35 mm) makes this coupling suitable for applications in which smaller motors or servos must be connected to more powerful gearboxes or power tools. For higher torques beyond the standard load range or for high-speed axes, the limits are reached, and a more robust coupling must be selected.

Safety Note

All rotating parts must be covered during operation. Clothing, hair, and loose objects must not enter the rotation zone. The coupling is not intended for use in machines subject to the Machinery Directive unless the overall system manufacturer has conducted a corresponding risk assessment.
