Product Description

This shaft coupling connects two shaft ends and transmits the motor’s rotational motion to spindles, threaded rods, or other shafts, such as in 3D printing. The cylindrical aluminum body, with an outer diameter of approximately 19 mm, features ring-shaped notches in the center that create a spring-like section.

This spring-like center section compensates for angular, axial, or parallel misalignments between the two shafts without breaking. Each end face features a bore for the shaft and two hex socket set screws that clamp the inserted shaft in place. This ensures that both shafts rotate in sync.

Depending on the version, the bores may have different diameters, thereby enabling connections between shafts of various sizes. This allows the coupling to adapt flexibly to different combinations of motor and driven shaft. As a purely mechanical component, it does not transmit any electrical signals.

Two shaft ends with matching diameters are required, depending on the selected model. No gear ring or flat keyway preparation is required on the shaft ends; the coupling operates solely through the clamping force of the set screws.

During installation, the set screws should be tightened to the appropriate torque to ensure a secure fit without causing damage. This component is intended exclusively for the construction of prototypes and for testing and development purposes.
