Product Description

The universal joint coupling connects drive shafts in RC models when they are not aligned. The universal joint allows for an angular misalignment between the shaft ends without interrupting the rotational movement. This allows for a more flexible drivetrain design, especially in tight installation spaces or when housing components necessitate angular misalignment.

The aluminum construction reduces vibrations during operation and minimizes wear on the bearing points. The joint enables efficient power transmission despite geometric constraints. Available in several sizes, the appropriate version can be selected for different model sizes and performance classes.

Typical applications include all-wheel-drive systems with angled drive shafts, complex chassis with multi-part drivetrains, or models whose axle geometry requires articulated couplings. Installation requires suitable shaft mounts and, if necessary, spacer sleeves to ensure connections with no play.
