ESC with dual drive for bidirectional brushed motors up to 24V

This electronic speed controller (ESC) is suitable for low-current motors with a maximum rated current of 2 A. The compact ESC impresses with its numerous safety functions and versatile application options.

Main functions and features:

Automatic calibration of the remote control

• The center is set to PWM 1500 µs.
• Operating lengths automatically adjust from 800-1100 (minimum) to 1900-2200 (maximum).
• Signal detection: Signals outside 800-2200 µs are considered invalid and the ESC blocks the motor.

Start with neutral point

• After applying a neutral signal (approx. 1500 µs), a "beep" sounds and the ESC starts.

Safety functions

• Run-through protection: If the signal is lost (e.g. due to cable interruption), the motor stops and the throttle must be set to neutral to unlock the motor.
• Switch-off protection: If the supply voltage falls below 4 V, the ESC is reset. Once the voltage is restored, the motor stops in the middle and can be unlocked again.
• Overcurrent protection: If the current load is too high, the ESC is protected (note: repeated overcurrent can damage the ESC).
• Overheating protection: The ESC protects itself if the temperature exceeds 130 °C.

Cooling and power supply

• The integrated aluminum heat sink ensures effective heat dissipation.
• An external UBEC is recommended for high-current servos or batteries over 4S.

Flexible control mode

• Mixed control mode (standard): Ideal for tanks or four-wheel drive vehicles, control via 2-3 channels.
• Independent dual-channel mode: Simulates two separate ESCs, perfect for realistic tank movements.
• Synchronous mode: Control both motors synchronously via the throttle.

Important notes:

• The ESC may only be used with motors designed for a maximum of 2A.
• Incorrect wiring can damage the controller - please observe the polarity.
• There is a risk of fire with high-current motors such as 540 types, so use at your own risk.
