Grove - Gas sensor (MQ9)

The Grove gas sensor module is suitable for detecting gas leaks (domestic and industrial). It can detect LPG, i-butane, methane, alcohol, hydrogen, smoke, etc. Due to the fast response time, measurements can be carried out quickly. In addition, the sensitivity can be adjusted via the potentiometer. The module is compatible with microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP and Raspberry Pi.

Note: Hot-swapping the Grove can cause the IC to burn out. Please turn off the power supply of the motherboard before replacing the Grove.

What is Grove?

Grove facilitates connection, experimentation and simplifies the prototyping process. No jumpers or soldering are required. More than 300 Grove modules have been developed to cover a wide range of applications and fulfill a variety of requirements. Not only the hardware is open source, but also the software. 

We offer various Grove shields to enable a connection to the Grove system with various microcontrollers.
