Sensor for object detection, or for measuring the distance using infrared light.

Obstacle detector / obstacle sensor module / distance sensor, compatible with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32 etc.

The strength of the infrared light and the sensitivity of the sensor can be adjusted using a potentiometer.

The output of this sensor is digital (HIGH and LOW signal)

The sensor has a compact design in which the light source and the detector are arranged in the same direction. To detect the presence of an object, the reflected infrared beam from the object is used. 

The IR transmitter and receiver are attached individually to the module. The sensor not only detects whether there is an obstacle, but also the distance to the object (as a relative value, depending on the strength of the reflected light) and outputs this as a digital signal.
