• This arc ignition generator generates a short arc at high voltage via the 3-5 V power supply.

Soldering instructions:

When the input end is connected to a 3-5V DC power supply and the secondary high-voltage output is not connected to the high-voltage rectifier diode and capacitor, the end of the two-stage output line can produce a high-temperature purple arc ≤ 0.8cm long, without crackling sound, but the temperature is very high, so it is easy to produce paper and smoke, and even very fine wires produce sparks.

The transformer has been packed with resin, which is safe and can work reliably and continuously for a long period of time. However, it is recommended not to power each smoke for more than 1 minute and pay attention to heat dissipation.

Notes on module usage:

1. Check that the positive and negative inputs are connected to the power supply. Before switching on, the corresponding distance of the high-voltage line must be set in the range of 0.2 to 0.8 cm. The arc distance of the high-voltage cable is proportional to the battery voltage and capacity used. The higher the input voltage, the longer the arc.

2. The high-voltage module should avoid the use of high voltage in open circuit. The test arc distance should be from short to long when experimenting. In the power supply, it is strictly forbidden to exceed 1cm longest arc distance, because the high voltage energy cannot be released and the module is easily damaged.

3. The power of the module is large and the internal heat dissipation is not suitable. Therefore, it cannot work for a long period of time. It is recommended to check the working time within 1 minute and pay attention to heat dissipation.
