Funduino SmartHome Education is a practice-oriented smart home training system for computer science and STEM lessons. With the ESP32 microcontroller, students develop real IoT and smart home applications with sensors and actuators.
The system is compatible with Home Assistant and can be fully integrated into a real smart home environment - including automations, dashboards and central control via a Home Assistant server.
Arduino IDE, MicroPython and MakeCode are supported as well as communication via WLAN and Bluetooth. Comprehensive teaching material enables a quick start and project-based learning from sensor technology to networked home automation.
Ideal for schools, working groups, vocational schools and training in the fields of smart home, IoT and automation.
Funduino SmartHome Education can be used completely standalone, without internet access or a smart home server.
All included sensors and actuators can be programmed, networked and automated directly with ESP32 and Arduino, even without a home assistant.
In standalone mode, the focus is on classic learning content, such as
