The SHT40 is the fourth generation of sensors developed by Sensirion. These sensors are designed to achieve a high accuracy level of ±1.5% relative humidity (∆RH) and ±0.1°C temperature accuracy (∆T). The sensor is supplied with an operating voltage of 1.08 V to 3.6 V, which makes it particularly suitable for small mobile devices. The sensor's communication interface is the common I2C standard. The SHT40 is housed in a DFN package, which makes it suitable for integration in demanding projects and at the same time compliant with high reliability standards such as JEDEC and JESD47.
