For microcontrollers without analog-to-digital converters or if you need a more accurate ADC, the ADS1115 offers 16-bit accuracy over I2C in 860 sampling seconds.

It can be configured as 4 single-ended input channels or two differential channels. It also includes an amplifier with programmable gain up to x16 to boost small single/differential signals to full range. The module works with 2 V to 5 V current/logic and can measure a wide range of signals and is easy to use.

Overview:

  • 16-bit accuracy in 860 sampling seconds
  • Chip features a ferrite breakout board to keep AVDD and AGND quiet
  • Interface: I2C
  • Supply voltage range: 2.0 V to 5.5 V
  • Continuous mode: only 150 μA
  • Single mode: automatic shutdown
  • The address can be changed to one of four options. So you can connect up to four ADS1115s to a single 2-wire I2C bus for up to 16 single-ended inputs.
  • Programmable data rates :8 PLC to 860 PLC two differential inputs, Programmable comparator, This motherboard chip uses the I2C 7-bit address between 0x48-0x4B
  • PCB size: 2.55*0.90*1.1cm
