Extension module for 3D printer heating bed - reduce the load on the controller board and increase printer performance
With this add-on module for 3D printer motherboards, a stable current of max. 25 A can be achieved with normal cooling. It helps 3D printers equipped with a controller board of max. 15 A to become more powerful by reducing the load on the motherboard. It can also resolve print quality issues as the motherboard is not overloaded by the power consumption of the heated bed printer.
It often happens (especially with the Anet A8, A6, A2) that the motherboard is fully loaded in order to heat up the heating bed. This can quickly lead to a fire hazard, as connectors are not suitable for these high loads. Control boards can burn out simply because the current flow is too high. This MOSFET board relieves the controller board of current. The cables coming from the controller signal whether the bed should be heated or not. Separate power cables run directly from the power supply to the MOSFET board and from the board to the heating bed.
If a 12 V power supply is used for the heating bed, this module is recommended, otherwise it may generate excessive current. Please select the appropriate power supply with sufficient margin according to the heat output of the bed. If the heat output is high, we recommend a 24 V power supply. If the power requirements are the same, the current is less than 12 V.
Currently works with the Anet A8 3D printer.
