Description
5A step-down converter module with constant voltage and current regulation, suitable for charging batteries, lithium batteries, etc., with LED light control for easy monitoring of charging status. Can be used as a high-power LED driver module with PWM control input interface and switching control interface to facilitate the use of a microcontroller to control the current drive.

The current detection of the module is at the lower end. Please do not short-circuit the input and output negative poles directly!
Application area:
1. Regulated power supply with constant current function for electronic components.
2. Charge different batteries, set the charging voltage and charging current according to the different voltages and capacities of the batteries.
3. Use solar panels to charge different batteries with constant current.
4. Drive high-power LEDs, which can be freely combined in series and parallel, with PWM control input. The brightness of the LED can be controlled by a microcontroller (PWM control frequency range 100-300 Hz) etc...
Method of setting voltage, current and control LED:
1. Set the output voltage: Adjust the constant voltage (CV) potentiometer according to the value of the charging voltage of the battery you want to charge, or the voltage value of the LED after series or parallel connection. Set the output voltage to the desired voltage. A multimeter should be used for the setting.
2. Set the current indicator for the LED light: After setting the output voltage, turn the CC (constant current) potentiometer about 20 turns counterclockwise, set a multimeter in the 20A current range to short-circuit output, adjust the CC potentiometer to the current you need to turn on the LED. Then set the rotary control for the LED so that it just lights up green.
3. Set a constant current value: After setting the lamp current, the 20A current range of the multimeter still has a short-circuit output. Set the CC potentiometer to the desired current value.
Attention: When setting the constant current, the voltage should be higher than 0.8V, otherwise the constant current function will not work.

Adjustment of voltage, current and light switch-on:
Adjust output voltage
Adjust the constant voltage potentiometer according to the float charge voltage of the battery to be charged or the voltage of the series and parallel LEDs and set the output voltage to the required voltage.
Set the control current display:
After adjusting the output voltage, adjust the CC potentiometer about 20 cycles counterclockwise, use the 20A current stop short-circuit output of the multimeter, adjust the CC potentiometer to the current you need to turn on the lamp, and then adjust the blinker potentiometer to turn on the green light.
Set the constant current value:
After setting the lamp current, the multimeter 20 A current gearbox will still short-circuit the CC potentiometer at the output to the current value you need to set.
