Overview:
- RAMPS 1.4 offers the possibility to control important components of a 3D printer (e.g. stepper motors, extruders and temperature sensors) via an Arduino Mega2560
- The shield is simply plugged onto a MEGA2560 microcontroller
- the modular design makes component replacement and expansion a breeze
- The most important data:
- 5 connectors for stepper motors (1x X-Y-Z-axis, 2x extruder)
- 3 connections for temperature sensors
- 6 connections for limit switches
- Circuit for the heating bed is separated (10A fuse)
- To connect LCD displays an adapter is required
- compatible with Marlin firmware
