The PN532 is a very flexible chip, as it can be addressed via 3.3V TTL UART, I2C or SPI. The PN532 can also be used to read NFC chips. The PN532 can be operated with all RFID and NFC chips of type 1 to 4 as well as with NXP MiFare tags. With the PN532 you can simulate an NFC tag and read it with an NFC-enabled phone. The desired communication is set via the DIP switches on the board, e.g. UART, SPI or I2C.

A suitable library can be found in the library manager of the Arduino software under the search term PN532.

Overview:

  • Near Field Communication (NFC) module (pre-soldered)
  • The module is based on the NXP PN532 chip.
  • NXP PN532 is widely used in the NFC sector.
  • Reads and writes RFID cards and tags.
  • With P2P communication, two peer PN532 modules can communicate wirelessly.

per I2C - super verwendbar!

Ziel: CircuitPython, >= 4 RFID Reader.
Ich habe mich für das PN532 entschieden da es günstig ist und per I2C ansteuerbar ist..
und da ich für mein Projekt >= 4Stück brauchte, wollte ich testen ob dies auch mit einem I2C multiplexer funktioniert..
JA Funktioniert vollständig.

Guter RFID Tag reader un writer

Funktioniert gut mit Arduino über SPI und I2C. Version 3 noch nicht 4. Guter Preis.
