The LDS-01 is a 360° laser distance sensor, also known as LiDAR. With this sensor, navigation and SLAM algorithms can be practically implemented in real time. Thanks to the high ambient light resistance of 10,000 lux, sufficiently accurate measurement data can also be determined outdoors. The manufacturer of this LiDAR system is ROBOTIS, which has already impressed with various other products such as the Dynamixel actuators.
