Product Overview
- Teflon Tubing for Filament Feed in 3D Printers
- Inner diameter 3 mm, outer diameter 8 mm
- Length 0.5 m
- Low-friction PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) material
- Compatible with Bowden extruder systems such as those found in the ANET ET4
Product Description
The Teflon tubing with a 3 mm inner diameter is a wear-and-tear replacement part for 3D printers with Bowden drives. The PTFE material significantly reduces friction losses during filament transport between the extruder motor and the print head. This directly affects extrusion stability and print quality.
The 0.5 m long version fits in compact printers such as the ANET ET4, where short feed paths between components are typical. Longer tubing would take up space here and is not necessary. The tube is routed between the stationary extruder motor and the moving print head and conveys the heated filament under pressure.
This replacement part is used when the existing PTFE tube shows signs of wear, becomes less slippery, or loses throughput after repeated filament changes. Replacing it regularly after approximately 500 to 1,000 operating hours helps prevent delays in filament procurement. The module fits onto the existing hose connectors without requiring additional adapters.
Safety Notice
This wear-resistant cable is intended exclusively for use with 3D printers in private workshops, as well as for testing and development purposes. When working on the printer’s electrical components, qualified electricians should be consulted, especially if modifications to the power supply or heating system are planned.
