Brushless motor controller / tester 7V - 12V with rotary control

Module for quick testing of brushless motors / brushless motors. Simply connect the motor and a power supply with direct current (battery / rechargeable battery / power supply unit) and the motor will rotate at 0% to 100% power depending on the rotary control.

This driver board can drive brushless micromotors with 3 or 4 wires and Hall-free circuit, such as brushless hard disk motors and brushless motors for optical drives. The hard disk motor can be operated with a voltage of 7-12 V, and the higher the voltage, the faster the speed, which can reach about 10000 revolutions per minute.

To identify the common connection of a 4-wire motor:

Use a multimeter to measure these four connections in the resistance * 1 range. If one terminal has the lowest and same resistance value as the other three terminals, then this terminal is the COM terminal, i.e. the common terminal. The drive board automatically recognizes brushless 3-wire or 4-wire motors, and brushless 4-wire motors can also be disconnected from the COM line.

Attention: After a short overcurrent protection, the operation indicator of the brushless drive board goes out. At this point, the power supply to the drive board should be disconnected and the cause of the current rectified before the drive board is supplied with power. Once the LED power indicator lights up, it can operate normally.

Note: Not all hard disk brands necessarily support reverse polarity protection. If it cannot be used, it will prove to be incompatible.
