Description
The Grove - IR distance interrupter (light barrier / distance warning device) detects objects in the light path based on ITR9909. The sensor uses infrared emitting diode and NPN silicon phototransistor. It generates a digital HIGH output in the event of reflected light. The detectable range is 7.5-40 cm.
Note: Sensitive to strong non-IR radiation. Bright light interferes with IR light detection on the photosensor.
