The Grove - RS232 is designed for a simple microcontroller connection to your computer. It enables simple plug-and-play Arduino serial communication instead of having to solder, use jumper wires, etc.

RS-232 has been a serial communication standard in the industry for years. Although it dates back to 1969, it is still widely used in the industry. However, with technological advances, there are now faster data transfer methods. RS232 is defined as "an interface between data terminals and data communication devices using serial binary data exchange".

Most MCUs use TTL levels, and the computer's serial port generally uses 232 levels. The computer can communicate with the MCU using this module. Communication between your Arduino boards and the computer is particularly convenient with the integrated Grove interface. 

This module is based on Max3232. It supports communication at multiple baud rates and theoretically supports communication at up to 230400 bit/s baud.

What is Grove?
