One robot for three microcontrollers

The Funduino FunBot is compatible with the Arduino UNO R3, the Raspberry Pi and the ESP32. This unique combination on a single board opens up a wide range of applications for young and old. The microcontrollers can be changed in just a few seconds by simply pulling them out and plugging them in.

Technical highlights and teaching materials

• Programming with Arduino and Open Roberta: Enables intuitive and graphical programming specially developed for teaching.
• Integrated sensor: An IR line sensor, an ultrasonic distance sensor and six RGB LEDs offer numerous possibilities for exciting projects.
• Plug and play: No soldering, no wiring - the microcontroller and the other components are simply plugged onto the robot and supplied with power via the robot.
• Powerful hardware: Quiet and powerful metal geared motors ensure reliable movement.

Technical details

• Ultrasonic sensor (for obstacle avoidance mode "collision avoidance")
• Infrared line tracking module (for line tracking mode "line tracker")
• 6* WS2812 LEDs on the underside of the board (e.g. for status display, "flashing")
• 2* LEDs in the direction of travel
• Control using 3V geared motors via the microcontroller
• 2* drive wheels and 1* ball caster as spacer
