Controlling the DOBOT Magician robot arm

The DOBOT Magician can be conveniently programmed on a PC using the Dobot Studio software. There are various programming options within the software: classic script programming, the teach and playback function and the block-based programming solution via Blockly. Teach and playback and Blockly programming are particularly suitable for younger pupils, as the programming process is clearly illustrated and easy to understand in both variants.

Alternatively, the robot arm can be controlled via an app or Bluetooth. It is also possible to connect a programmable logic controller (PLC).

Simple expansion of the DOBOT robot arm via serial interfaces

With its 13 I/O ports and API, the DOBOT Magician is ready for use in individual user applications.
It can be controlled by a PLC or an Arduino-compatible microcontroller, for example.

Can be combined with other DOBOT products

The DOBOT Magician was specially developed to impart knowledge in an application-based way. DOBOT has succeeded in providing a wide range of products, especially in view of the changes in the course of Industry 4.0 and the associated striving for automated processes.
