Product Description

A latching switch with integrated LED illumination is ideal for applications where switch positions require visual feedback and only small loads are being switched. The switch functions as a changeover switch and can switch up to 3 A DC or 10 A AC at 250 V.

The latching mechanism holds the switch in the selected position, so no additional force is required to hold it in place. The LED illumination remains on regardless of the switch position, making the operating status visible even in dark environments. The solder lug terminals allow for direct wiring to the printed circuit board or connection using compatible crimp contacts.

Typical applications include control panels on laboratory equipment, display switches on measuring instruments, function selectors in audio and amplifier systems, and status indicators in control cabinets. The low-profile design fits into narrow front panels; however, for higher power applications, a relay output from the switch is required.

The maximum switching capacity is 10 A for alternating current; loads exceeding this limit must be switched via a separate relay or contactor. A separate power supply is required for LED lighting, which may be independent of the switching voltage.
