This vertical trimmer potentiometer is a precise setting element for calibrating and fine-tuning electronic circuits. Typical applications include setting reference voltages, adjusting switching thresholds on comparators, adjusting gain and offset in analog circuits and adjusting control parameters in control systems.
The printed code indicates the nominal value as the maximum resistance between the two external connections. Turning the adjusting screw moves the wiper inside. This causes the resistance between the middle connection and one of the outer connections to change continuously. Depending on the variant, an adjustment from near 0 Ω to the respective maximum value is possible. For an exact setting, we recommend checking with a multimeter.
Thanks to the THT design, the trimmer can be reliably soldered into breadboards and PCBs. The vertical design allows convenient adjustment from above and is particularly suitable for compact setups, prototyping, laboratory and training.
