Product Description

The replacement nozzle for 1.75-mm filament with a 0.6-mm orifice allows for greater layer heights than smaller standard nozzles, thereby increasing the material flow per unit of time. This significantly reduces print times, especially for objects with low surface resolution requirements.

The brass material evenly dissipates heat to the filament, resulting in more consistent results and a more stable material flow rate. For the ANET ET4 and ET5 printers, the nozzle fits directly into the designated hotend thread; no modification is required.

The larger extrusion area is suitable for rapid prototyping, test prints, and structural parts where high resolution is not a priority. Finely detailed or thin-walled models, on the other hand, require the standard 0.4-mm nozzle. When switching between different nozzle sizes, the firmware setting for the layer height must be adjusted to ensure consistent results.

Allow the printer to cool completely before installation. The nozzle is easier to install and remove on a heated print head. Replacement is recommended in case of wear or clogging; attempting to clean it may damage the nozzle’s geometry.
