Grove - Long Range 868MHz

The main functional module in Grove - Long Range 868MHz is the RFM95, a transceiver with a long range modem that offers spread spectrum communication over long distances and high noise immunity with minimal power consumption. At its heart is the ATmega168, a widely used chip with very high performance and low power consumption, which is particularly suitable for this Grove module.

Tip: If the signal from the wire antenna is too weak to receive, an additional antenna can be added next to the antenna using the MHF connector.

What is Grove?

Grove is a platform developed by Seeed Studio to simplify IoT projects. The Grove connector is integrated into most boards manufactured by Seeed to make them one system. This time, Grove has been combined with Long Range to provide an ultra-long range wireless module.

Note:

• Please keep the antenna perpendicular to the board and as straight as possible for best performance.
• Please avoid placing large metal objects near the antenna. Also, a metal enclosure is not recommended if you need to add an enclosure to your device.
