New to Arduino?
The Plug and Make Kit is perfect for beginners! Our comprehensive, free, multilingual online guide walks you through the entire Arduino ecosystem. In addition to the seven fully documented projects designed to inspire your creativity, it includes detailed instructions on how to use the innovative Modulino® nodes. This guide has been designed to make your entry into the world of Arduino as easy and enjoyable as possible, so you can start making with confidence.
What's in the box?
The Arduino Plug and Make Kit is based on an innovative hardware approach: the components are simply connected together - no breadboard, jumper wires or soldering required.
In the box you will find:
- the state-of-the-art Arduino UNO R4 WiFi motherboard: the powerhouse for your projects.
- 7 Modulino® nodes: Sensors and actuators for various functionalities (see details below)
- the Modulino Base to keep your projects looking and working neatly.
- uSB-C® cable with USB-A adapter: Easily power up and upload code to your Arduino.
- qwiic cable: Easily connect Modulino® nodes and the Arduino board.
- spacers, screws and nuts: Secure everything in place for a permanent installation.
The Plug and Make Kit is designed to be simple, fast and fun. We've taken care of the complexity so you can turn your ideas into fully functional devices in a single session. Start a new hobby, or perhaps a lifelong passion, by harnessing the full potential of technology - and yours.
What are Modulino®?
Modulino® are sensors and actuators that are simply connected via the built-in Qwiic port of the UNO R4 WiFi. For more complex projects, you can connect more than one and never have to wonder which side goes where, as the connector is polarized.
The Plug and Make Kit contains one of each:
- modulino® Knob: for super-fine value settings
- modulino® Pixels: eight LEDs that light up brightly, dim or change color - the choice is yours!
- modulino® Distance: a proximity sensor with runtime measurement for precise distance measurement
- modulino® Movement: for perfect detection of movements such as tilting, rolling or tilting
- modulino® Buzzer: for generating your own alarm tones or simple melodies
- modulino® Thermo: a sensor for temperature and humidity data
- modulino® Buttons: three buttons for quick project navigation
