The Grove shield for micro:bit is an expansion board that acts as a bridge between the micro:bit and the Grove system. It offers 4 Grove ports, edge connectors for crocodile clips and banana plugs as well as an integrated USB connection for powering the micro:bit. 

micro:bit is a pocket microcontroller for children and beginners to learn programming. The Grove Shield extends the capabilities of micro:bit by integrating hundreds of Grove modules such as sensors, actuators and indicators.
