The Calliope mini was developed to give students from third grade onwards age-appropriate and creative access to the digital world. Getting started is so easy that children, teachers and parents can get started straight away, even without any previous knowledge. Thanks to the pre-assembled socket strips, the has an open and versatile interface into which a huge number of modules/components/cables etc. can be plugged.

Calliope Housing

This housing from Funduino provides secure protection for the Calliope mini while ensuring student- and child-friendly handling.

The lid and case can be connected using either rubber bands or screws, both of which are supplied with the case. The screws enable a permanent connection between the housing and lid, while the battery compartment can still be easily removed in both versions by simply moving the clamping bracket of the battery holder. A cable duct hides the battery cable, so that you only have a nice, compact and robust Calliope module in your hand. The large opening in the lid allows easy access to the socket strip underneath.
