ST-LINK / V2 is an in-circuit debugger and programmer for the STM8 and STM32 microcontroller families.
The Single Wire Interface Module (SWIM) and JTAG / Serial Wire Debug (SWD) interfaces are used to communicate with any STM8 or STM32 microcontroller on the application board. STM8 applications use the USB full-speed interface to communicate with STMicroelectronics ST Visual Develop (STVD) or ST Visual Program (STVP) software. STM32 applications use the USB full-speed interface to communicate with the Atollic, IAR, Keil, or TASKING integrated development environment.
Features:
- 5V power supply via USB connector USB 2.0 full-speed compatible interface USB Standard A to Small B cable
- Status LED flashes during communication with PC
- Operating temperature 0 to 50 ° C
- When connecting ST-LINK / V2 to a computer via the USB interface, a USB driver must be installed
SWIM specific features:
- SWIM interface supports 1.65 V to 5.5 V application voltage
- Supports SWIM low-speed and high-speed mode
- SWIM programming rate: 9.7 KByte / s at low speed, 12.8 KByte / s at high speed
- SWIM cables are used to connect applications that use standard ERNI vertical or horizontal connectors
- SWIM cables, connect to the application via pin or 2.54-mm pitch connectors
JTAG features:
- the JTAG interface supports application voltage between 1.65V-3.6V and 5-V tolerant inputs
- JTAG cable to connect a standard JTAG connector with 20 pins and 2. 54 mm pitch connector Support Direct Firmware Update Function (DFU)
