Overview:
The A4988 CNC Shield V3.0 is the central element for DIY CNC milling.
- Supports GRBL 0.9, an open-source firmware that runs on the Arduino UNO and converts G-code commands into stepping signals.
- Compatible with 4 axes (X, Y, Z, A) and allows the use of custom firmware for X, Y, Z or the complete 4th axis via pins D12 and D13.
- Compatible with removable A4988 or DRV8825 stepper motor drivers.
- Jumper settings for stepper motor microstepping.
- Compact design and easy connection of stepper motors via 4-pin Molex connectors or soldering.
- Operation at a voltage of 12-36V DC (note that the DRV8825 driver only supports up to 36V).
