The TP4056 charge controller extends the life of lithium batteries with its efficient and safe charging function. It is ideal for DIY projects, portable electronics and other applications where reliable battery charging is required.

The TP4056 supports an input voltage of 4.5V to 5.5V and can be powered by a variety of power sources such as USB power adapters, power banks or solar panels.

Note:

  1. When this module is used for the first time, there may be no voltage output between OUT + and OUT-. Connect a 5V power supply to activate the circuit.
  2. The 5V USB power supply (e.g. smartphone charger) should have an output current of at least 1A. This corresponds to an output of at least 5 watts.

Preiswert und funktioniert

Ich habe zwei Laderegler gekauft und dazu Batteriehalter für je einen Lithiumakku vom Typ 18650. Einen Laderegler habe ich über USB-Kabel mit einem Billigladegerät und den anderen mit einem Labornetzteil bei 4,7 V betrieben. Beim Netzteil konnte ich sehen, dass zunächst ein Strom von etwa 0,5 Ampere floss, der dann langsam zurück ging. Das Laden dauerte mehrere Stunden. Die Akkus von Samsung haben eine Kapazität von 3500 mAh. Fazit: sehr preisgünstige Lösung für ein schonendes Laden von Lithium-Akkus, aber man muss bei größeren Kapazitäten Geduld mitbringen. Laut Spezifikation könnten die Akkus mit bis zu 2 Ampere geladen werden, das kann dieses günstige Teil nicht liefern, kann man für den Preis aber wohl auch nicht erwarten.
