The module is used to detect the presence of mains voltage and pass this information as a logic signal (HIGH/LOW) to microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32 or Raspberry Pi.

Terminal assignment
AC side (left terminal):

AC IN (L/N) - connection for the AC voltage to be tested (e.g. 230 V AC)
Attention: Mains voltage! Only connect by qualified personnel.

DC side (right-hand terminal):

VCC - supply voltage of the module (typically 5 V)

GND - Ground

OUT - Digital output signal (HIGH/LOW)

Operating principle

The module is supplied with 5 V DC voltage (VCC).

The mains voltage to be measured is connected to the AC input.

When voltage is detected:

The green LED lights up.

The OUT output signal goes LOW (0 V).

If no voltage is detected:

LED off.

OUT = HIGH (5 V).

Safety instructions

The module operates with dangerous mains voltage! Work may only be carried out by qualified electricians.

Never touch the module when it is switched on.

Only use in a dry, well-insulated environment.

Ensure insulation and distance from the microcontroller.
