Grove encoder (rotary encoder)

This is an incremental rotary encoder from the Grove series with a standard Grove interface. The module encodes the rotation signal of the axis and outputs the signal via an electronic pulse. 

Suitable for projects that require a rotary knob (e.g. volume control, selection field or digital input). 

Note: The module can generate another signal when pressed down, but is supplied without output of this signal due to limited Grove signal cables.

What is Grove?

Grove facilitates connection, experimentation and simplifies the prototyping process. No jumpers or soldering are required. More than 300 Grove modules have been developed to cover a wide range of applications and fulfill a variety of requirements. Not only the hardware is open source, but also the software. We offer various Grove Shields to enable a connection to the Grove system with various microcontrollers.
