DOBOT MG400 Sliding Rail Kit - Linear axis extension for the MG400

The DOBOT MG400 Sliding Rail Kit extends the working range of the DOBOT MG400 by an additional linear axis and thus enables the implementation of handling, transport and assembly tasks over greater distances. In combination with the robot, a compact system for linear movements along an additional traversing axis is created.

The extension consists of a linear axis, servo motor and servo driver and is designed for direct connection to the MG400. The axis can be integrated as an additional axis via DobotStudio2020 or DobotSCStudio and programmed together with the robot. This allows coordinated motion sequences to be implemented for pick-and-place, feeding and assembly processes.

The Sliding Rail Kit is suitable for applications in which the working range of the MG400 is to be extended along a line. Typical areas of application are pick-and-place processes across several stations, feeding and depositing tasks, assembly processes and laboratory and training setups with several processing positions.

Thanks to the additional traversing axis, the MG400 can be integrated more flexibly into linear process sequences without having to switch to a larger robot.
