What is Chameleon heat transfer vinyl?

Chameleon heat transfer vinyl (HTV or iron-on vinyl) is made of PET, PU/PVC and hot melt adhesive. It is easy to cut with your LOKLiK Crafter, Cricut or Silhouette cutting machine. When heated with a heat press, the vinyl melts and transfers your design to the fabric of your choice.
It works beautifully on a variety of materials such as cotton, polyester and cotton/polyester blends, making it ideal for adding stunning color-changing effects to all your creative projects such as t-shirts, tote bags, pillows and more!

The color-changing heat transfer vinyl is designed to withstand multiple washes without fading, peeling or cracking.

How to use heat transfer vinyl
design	cut	remove remnants
Create your design. Check that your design is mirrored before cutting	Place the material on the cutting mat with the matt white side facing up. Cut out your design using your LOKLiK Crafter, Cricut or Silhouette cutting machine.	Remove all excess vinyl from the original clear protective backing.
press	peel off	Done!
place it on your fabric with the transfer sheet facing up. Place a Teflon sheet on top and iron it in place with your heat press using the temperature settings recommended in the instructions*.	allow your project to cool and remove the transfer sheet.	Your motif is finished. You can now iron on a different color if required.

*Temperature and settings may vary depending on the material.

Care instructions

• Wait 24 hours before washing.
• Wash inside out and tumble dry.
• Machine wash cold (30 °C).
• Use a mild detergent. Do not bleach.
• Do not iron the motif directly. Turn it inside out, iron the reverse side or use a Teflon film to protect the motif.
