Product Description
This axial fan circulates cooling air around the hot end of a 3D printer to maintain the thermal insulation of the print head and operate a burn prevention system. With a 24 V operating voltage, the module integrates into standard printer control boards without requiring an additional voltage converter.
The fan draws power directly from the printer’s mainboard via its JST-2P connector. Its shallow depth of 10 mm fits into tight print heads; the airflow rate of 13.86 m³/h is sufficient for standard hot ends. Installation is carried out via four mounting points on the front sides of the housing.
This component is used during maintenance or when modifying existing printing systems, such as when replacing worn-out fans or adapting to different hotend designs. It is also used in DIY projects based on printer controllers with 24 V outputs.
The JST connector must be compatible with the connector version on the printer’s mainboard; some boards use different connector types and therefore require rewiring. A 24 V power supply is required.
